Thank you so much for visiting the website. OC Hamster rescue is the brain child of Michelle, Who currently resides in Garden Grove, California. Her love for small pets has always been her passion. She enjoys rescuing, rehoming and taming small animals of all kinds. Hamsters being her favorite. She currently is owned by 4 Guinea pigs, As well as a cute little dwarf female named Jesse. Michelle has been rescuing Dogs since 2001 and started rescuing small animals in 2005, She has seen opened, closed and re-opened OC Hamster Rescue due to having a child, a move & getting married { not in that order }. 

    Her mission is for OC Hamster Rescue to become the end all be all of hamster education for the Orange County Area. She looks forward to working with volunteers, adopters & the community to make sure that hamster education is readily available to everyone.      We have recently opened up OC Hamster Rescue to Guinea Pigs and Chinchillas { thus the etc ;) }. We have been able to do this due to a very close relationship with Small Animal Haven based in Whitter, California.
